Dmv's own Lazee Lamont (Comedy Central, National Lampoon, BET's Comic View, The Eavesdrop on XM 67 The City) will be back home this weekend performing (see flyer to right) so DLR wanted to holla at him about his thoughts on his journey and his views on life.

Now that you live in Lala land, has it changed your perception of silicone?

I have never really felt fake ta-tas....well i have felt them but I have never really been a fan of them......I still am not. i like the natural joints.

Has your agent ever tried to get you work in the porn industry? I heard they give great "raises".

I turned down roles in Skeet The Parents, Friday Night Dykes, and The Little Furmaid. I told them my part wasn't big enough....my part in the movie that is.

I told them I would get back to them about HandCock *No Homo*

Who's the baddest (aka phattest) celebrity you seen out in L.A.?

I just was at an event with Vida Guerra last Thursday. Hmmm let me see. I would have to say the video girls, and the groupies that go to the clubs be lookin more vicious then the celebs though. I done been on video shoots wif straight fire donkeys. And people go to the comedy clubs here like they go to the club at home so I done seen a rack of the porno chicks up in the comedy club. Claudia Jordan is pretty tuff in person. Lauren London is blaze. Uhhh Angell Conwell is a stallion. Oh yeah, and I did a movie last year with MYA and Melyssa Ford and they are both the truth!

Do you think republicans are really that stupid or do they just think that everyone else is that stupid?

I think they don't care. Stupidity comes in many forms, but I think they genuinely don't care about people of color and the working poor in this country. We are not on their agenda and they will do anything necessary to protect their so-called 'standard of living.' Picking Palin was a straight tabloid move. It was dumb but might actually work, becuase America has become a tabloid society that is stuck on stupid anyway. He coulda picked New York from flavor of love and prolly got the black and woman vote away from Obama. We are all asleep at the wheel anyway. Sheep. I almost dont want Obama to win because he gon have an impossible job tryna fixing shit.

Do you think Palins daughter is about to have her first or second baby?

That baby is every bit Palin's 2nd granddaughter and I can't wait til that info comes out. The whole thing is a charade. i can't wait for it to get exposed. Bristol look like a freak anyway. You seen them hooters? The ice hockey team at her high school prolly done all ran up and through that igloo!

Do you think that its time for Obama to have a nukka moment to get his point across during the debates?

I dont even think he has to to be honest. All he has to do is be firm and factual like he has been and I think McCane will fall all over himself they way he has been already. McCane is a 'true P.O.W' a Pasty Old Whiteman.

So what kind of topics can the crowd expect to hear from you on Saturday?

Aw man, i'mma touch on quite a bit. I got a lot of new stuff, and my old stuff is new if you have never seen me on stage. Of course, politics, marriage, people, current events, n*gga shit and my favorite--head. The Instant Classic is another one of my branded events that has grown in popularity and puts on display some of the hottest up and coming talent in the area. Its our 4th Comedy & Variety Show that does comedy & variety unlike anybody else is doing. The last three were off the hook and IC4 will be no different. We got Eddie Bryant (1st Ammendment, Comic View: One Mic Stand), Ayanna Dookie (DC Comedy festival, NY Underground Comedy Festival), Tray Chaney (HBO's The Wire), Damo, & Bassey (Def Poetry Jam) among several others coming through. Whatelse is on the horizon for you in 2008/2009?

I plan on getting my hands in as many projects as possible to further build my brand. You can listen to me every week co-hosting a Talk-show on XM 67 The City called The Eavesdrop, I did two movies with Russ Parr that you will be seeing soon (Something Like A Business / Love For Sale), I plan to get more standup comedy work on the road at clubs and colleges nationwide, I want heavyset cats to start rockin my Husky Swag apparel and I will continue to rep the DMV wherever I go.
