Is Lil Wayne A Gay Fish Too?

I was about to do a post about the new Ken Griffeys(pictured) when I remembered the lyrics from Lil Wayne's song "Getting Some Head". Weezy F. Baby (wtf?) spits the following line: "I gotta bytch with her mouth like that boy Ken Griffey" *clears throat* WTF?!!!! IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!

Then last week internets sites start posting video of Wayne and Baby on 106 & Park kissing and admitting it. Wayne yells "I'm the only one he kisses" *clears throat* WTF?!!!! IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!

Shouldn't South Park be calling him a gay fish too? Is rap truly gay-friendly? If anyone can decipher the meaning of that line it would be greatly appreciated so I continue to enjoy his music without feeling like I'm listening to Boy George or some shyt.

It was revealed today that hip-hop heavyweights Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and T.I. will be joining forces next month to perform their hit “Swagga Like Us” at the 51st annual Grammy Awards. The song, which features a sample from another Grammy nominated song - M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes”- is vying for a trophy for Best Rap Performance By A Duo or Group. (Big moment for hip hop)

Charts Locked Down

Kanye West has landed at #1 on the billboard charts. Although he sold about 500k less than his last album its still an accomplishment considering he sung on the whole album. Real singers don't sell 450k in their first week. He beat out Guns and Roses for the top spot and Ludacris came in at # 5 with about 215k. (I hate to admit it but Kanye album is not bad once you get past the singing...production, lyrics and song arrangement is on point)

Well it turns out this dude is in all kinds of mess lately, from fighting in LA airports, being sued by SUGE KNIGHT(I still laugh at that one...WTF kind of crap is that), too being arrested after an alleged run-in with a photographer outside a nightclub in Newcastle on Friday morning. Can Kanye really fight?? If so, why is he always fighting photographers whose sole purpose is trying to help his image. The man who cried when the spotlight wasn't shining on him, to now fighting the same folks he begged to put him out there. DLR is a little confused at Mr. West's actions lately. Is he trying to go to jail to help promote music or something? He must have forgot what he came into the game as.. .The College Drop-Out... No damn body is scared of that...Hello earth to Kanye... leave the fighting to those that can. LOL... Just stick to the music man. Thats what we want to hear from you today.. not all that other bull-crap...

Suge Knight...Will Sue For Food

A few weeks ago DLR reported that Suge Knight was having his Death Row assests auctioned. Now it looks like he is desperate for some loot by suing Kanye West...WTF? I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

Embattled rap impresario Suge Knight hit Kanye West with a lawsuit stemming from the 2005 shooting in Miami that left the mogul with a bullet in his thigh. According to the suit, Knight is holding West's security and The Shore Club responsible for the shooting and the loss of a $135,000 diamond earring. The suit reads: "It was reasonably foreseeable to defendants that the party would present a dangerous environment with the possibility of weapons (including firearms) being used by or against party guests given the well-known feuds that have at times pitched East Coast rap and hip-hop stars against West Coast rap and hip-hop stars, some of whom would be attending the party with their associates." The lawsuit also states parties were invited to the shindig who weren't exactly considered friends of Mr. Knight.

Umbrella Boy Blowing Up? WTF?

Umbrella (ella, ella) Boy, Fonzworth Bentley has a new show premiering on MTV tonight called from G's to Gents which is executive produced by Jamie Foxx.
