Jill Scott will be starring in a 7 episode series on HBO called "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency." Its based on a popular (never heard of it) book and was filmed in Africa. Its set to premiere this Sunday at 8p.m. By the looks of the title it seems like its going to be some player hating going on. I'm sure you ladies will enjoy.

Wind Me Up Chuck!
I went to the Chuck Brown, Jill Scott, Roots and Estelle(she be crankin) show at the Merriweather Post Pavillion Saturday night. Thank God I didnt buy lawn seats cause it rained but didn't seem to damper the parade. The lawn was partying despite the rain during Chuck. FYI...Chuck Brown w/Lil Benny performance > all other performances. Click here for a complete recap and pics.
