Is $17.4 Billion Even Enough??

Looks like the Feds finally went on and gave the automakers some money. The troubled U.S. auto industry will receive emergency loans of up to $17.4 billion from the federal government in return for an extensive restructuring of its outstanding debt and labor costs over the coming year, President Bush said today. Man just when I was about to buy the brand new 26" 12 speed Huffy. LOL

CAN WE AT LEAST GET LUNCH MONEY??

The Senate basically told all the automakers to GTFOH!!! LOL.. And I don't blame them. Today your tax dollars are safe from the greedy automakers who flew to Washington in private jets costing $20,000 per flight just in jet fuel alone. Yesterday we reported that the $15 billion bailout bill passed easily in the house, but was defeated 52-35 in the Senate last night. Now maybe we will get that very low priced 2009 Cadillac Escalade cheap next year for Christmas.

HERE IS A PLAN FOR THE AUTO MAKERS!!

These classic car's were considered great for the economy. WTF happened? You could purchase these cars directly off the show room floor for $1,879 brand new and that was with all the amenities...hub caps, 8 track, and all...LOL...Now the automakers are crying foul. GTFOH...They came to the senate meeting on their private jets, drove down in a free fuel efficient cars, and asked could they borrow $31 Billion dollars with no supervision of where and how the money will be distributed. A House-passed bill to speed $14 billion in loans to Detroit's automakers stands on shaky ground in a bailout-weary Congress, undermined by Republican opposition that could derail the emergency aid in the Senate. Republicans are challenging lame-duck President George W. Bush on the proposal, arguing that any support for the domestic auto industry should carry significant concessions from autoworkers and creditors and reject tougher environmental rules imposed by House Democrats... Hell I agree, how about we start with the price of car's. I would love a new Caddie for $2k...The price of gas today would have brought you a minimum of 3 to 5 cars a year brand new. WTF kind of crap is that? Talk about getting screwed... Read more..
