Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks has been accused by the SEC of insider trading. This is not a light charge...he allegedly sold of some shares of a site ahead of time to avoid a $750k loss. I never understood insider trading anyway. In the black community, we call it having the "hook up." SMH @ the white mans law.
The Washington Wizards kick off their 2008-2009 season with a preseason game 8:30 est tonight on Comcast against the Dallas Mavericks. Don't look for much action from the starters after the first half but it will be interesting to see the return of Etan Thomas. He will see his first action after sitting out all of last year after a heart operation. Also, look out for DMV's own Demarr Johnson as he attempts to make the roster.
