New Jordans Released Tomorrow

If you not being hit hard by the recession than maybe you can afford some of these new Jordans in stores tomorrow, March 7th. (Smdh @ $140)

The Air Jordan True Flight is Jordan Brand’s newest team sneaker, and as many sneakerheads have noticed, the True Flight is obviously inspired by the Air Jordan VII (7). Though some of the colorways have already been released at certain locations, the official release date for all four pairs shown above is tomorrow, March 7, 2009. The first pair from this installment is one we have not seen much of in the form of previews. It features a white leather base with metallic silver, light graphite, and black accents. The second Air Jordan True Flight also hosts a white base, but it comes with varsity red and black accents. The next colorway may remind you of the “French Blue” Air Jordan 7, and it yields a white base with court blue and university blue accents. The final pair from this collection hosts a brighter color scheme of black with electric lime and light graphite accents. All four colorways of the Air Jordan True Flight are set to drop tomorrow, March 7, 2009, at your local Nike retailers for a retail price of $140.

Air Obamas

Well, Nike didn't want the public to go without, but they are available on a very limited basis. NikeBlog.com has the details of the limited availability of the new Air Jordan Pure Pressure, Inauguration Edition shoes.

According to NikeBlog.com and FootlockerUnlocked.com,

January 20th was obviously a pretty historic day in US history, as we inaugurated our first black president. As an on-court tribute that same day, Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby each wore special Air Jordan Pure Pressure PE's which included stars and stripes, red, white and blue and the date of the inauguration on the tongue tag. The shoes recently dropped in a limited public release at all three House of Hoops locations. I've heard they may already be sold out in most sizes, in which case OSneaker.com has them for $230.

Um...Baracks my man but $230...NEGRO PLEASE!!! We in a recession.

Under Armour To Battle Nike

DMV owned company Under Armour is throwing its hat into the shoe arena in hopes of tackling Nike by introducing its first pair of athletic shoes in January 2009. I have much respect for Under Armour but this is like Soulja Boy trying to battle Jay-Z. They might want to take on Pro-Keds or Asics first before they come messing with the beloved swoosh.
