A teenage star of the Harry Potter films has been arrested after cops found a cannabis farm worth more than $2,900 in his bedroom.

Drug squad officers swooped on 19-year-old Jamie Waylett — famed as bullying Hogwarts School pupil Vincent Crabbe in the wizard movies — after a tip-off.

Police first stopped him in an Audi car and discovered eight bags of pot inside the vehicle.Waylett and a pal in the vehicle, also 19, were held at the scene on suspicion of possession.

Cops then raided the home the actor shares with his mom Theresa, two brothers and a sister — and seized ten mature cannabis plants valued at about $2,900.

The plants were growing under powerful hydroponic lights beside the actor’s DJ decks and a PlayStation.

Waylett was further arrested on suspicion of production of a Class B drug.

Millions of people smoke marijuana each day without worries or fears about it affecting their health. "Its natural man, its from the earth man"-Friday. But recent studies have shown that smoking weed not only lowers your sperm count, but will increase your chances of developing testicular cancer. Authorities have busted a $1 billion pot-smuggling ring that had been sneaking 400,000 pounds across the Mexican border every year. Operation Tumbleweed led to the indictment of 59 people yesterday and 39 arrests for felony charges, Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard said. The so-called Garibaldi-Lopez drug-trafficking ring had smuggled 200 tons of marijuana into the country annually since 2003, according to Goddard. The 2 million pounds smuggled in over that time period has an estimated wholesale value of $1 billion. Traffickers wearing night-vision goggles and aided by coordinators hiding in the hills would drive stolen vehicles, each holding 2,000 to 2,500 pounds of marijuana, on a weekly basis, authorities said.

At least it was Mexican brown weed, and any decent weed smoker knows that means chronic prices should stay the same throughout the recession, with a slight increase in the price of dirt bud. Uhhh…that’s according to our sources, not someone on the staff at DLR who smokes hella weed.
