DE' JA DO-DO.. I MEANT VUE

This has to be one of the best baseball parks ever created. But starting of 1-10 again has got to be the worst. And that is where DLR draws the line concerning the Washington Nationals. The last 3 game the Nationals was leading in the 9th inning and guess what happened??

That's right they lost.

Washington led for about three hours yesterday at Nationals Park. The final two innings, though, full-nelsoned the Nationals into a 7-4 loss and cost three relief pitchers their jobs. The Nationals, finally, could tolerate no more. Not after Saúl Rivera's 44-pitch self-destruction in Florida's four-run ninth. Not after their bullpen's ERA climbed to 6.48. Certainly not after they fell behind by 9 1/2 games in the National League East.

Minutes later, Acta and acting general manager Mike Rizzo retreated to the manager's office, tucked just down the hallway from the clubhouse, and summoned the relievers one by one: First, righty Steven Shell, designated for assignment. Then lefty Wil Ledezma, designated for assignment. Then the once-reliable Rivera, who has lost all ability to throw strikes. Each returned to a locker he no longer owned. Shell hurled his car keys and a piece of paper against the wall. "I just feel like the bullpen is the reason we're losing all these games," Shell said, "so I guess they've got to do something."

Wizards, Redskins, Nationals.... Man does DC have any talent on these teams, they don't even look like they can beat themselves.... AAAAGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anybody have any answers??

Jim Bowden resigns as Nats General Manager!

Jim Bowden stepped down as the Nationals GM this morning saying that he is becoming too much of a distraction for the team. Bowden is being investigated by the MLB and also FBI for the signing of supposed 16-year old Dominican prospect. It turns out that this prospect had a fake name and also lied about his age. Bowden leaves with no ill feelings and wishes the Nationals the best in all they do.

1 MORE AND THAT IS 100!!!!! OH NO SAY IT AINT SO!!

Baseball is finally coming to an end this year and the Washington National are about to set a record in DC that hasn't been matched before even by the Washington Senators. Not sure if you know this but there is 162 games a season in baseball and the Washington Nationals are about to lose their 100th game. OMG!!! WTF!!! This is the worst news I've seen all day and DC sports has dropped to a new low. What team in the City wins anything anymore? The Wizards haven't won since the 70's and the Redskins haven't won since 89-90. And now the baseball team we wanted to have so bad is just as dissappointing. Who loses 100 games when your trying to show a new city that your a legit franchise?

The Dog Days Of Summer

I know its baseball but its the only big sports production for awhile. Last night was the final all star game in Yankee Stadium history (They will be in a new park next year). There were plenty of media, hall of famer's and happy baseball purists. The game was actually pretty good, going into extra innings and finally ending with the American league winning 4-3 (I fell asleep as the game ended at 1:33 am).

Washington had one sole representative, Christian Guzman SS for the Nationals.
