DLR Presents: Under Center with Maly-Mal

So the Redskins were trampled by the Giants last night. I think I may have been too generous when I said they would be 6-10 on the year. Luckily we have a whole weekend of other games to get ready for. Here’s the skinny on the rest of the league:

NFC West
Seattle Seahawks – Class of the division (10-6)
San Francisco 49ers – This will be the year of the turnaround (8-8)
St. Louis Rams – Bulger’s fragile, the defense is soft (4-12)
Arizona Cardinals – Can’t get right, won’t get right, good night! (2-14)

NFC North
Minnesota Vikings – Weak schedule in a weak division (12-4)
Chicago Bears – Orton or Grossman? It’s Orton and that’s gross man! (7-9)
Green Bay Packers – No Favre = Not Far! (7-9)
Detroit Lions – Zzzzzzz! Who cares, unless you’re from Detroit! (4-12)

NFC South
New Orleans Saints – Explosive offense makes up for suspect defense (13-3)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Team looking for respect. Respect is earned not given (10-6)
Carolina Panthers – No quarterback + No offensive line = No playoffs! (7-9)
Atlanta Falcons – Michael Vick back, yet? (1-15)

AFC East
New England Patriots – On a mission to get the 18-1 taste out of their mouths (15-1)
New York Jets – B-R-E-T-T… Brett! Brett! Brett! (11-5)
Buffalo Bills – You tell me (7-9)
Miami Dolphins – Bill Parcells brings hope, just not this year. (3-13)

AFC North
Pittsburgh Steelers – It’s their division, again. Can Parker return to form? (10-6)
Cleveland Browns – Sorry Romeo, but, the Browns are OVERRATED! (9-7)
Cincinnati Bengals – Ocho Cinco, T.J. “who’s your mama”… Still a circus team! (7-9)
Baltimore Ravens – The defense is now old, and quarterback is STILL a problem (3-13)

AFC South
Indianapolis Colts – Peyton Manning… Enough said! (14-2)
Jacksonville Jaguars – Receivers are the Jags Achilles heel. (13-3)
Houston Texans – Will take a step back this year (6-10)
Tennessee Titans – Poor Vince Young. It’ll literally be 1 against 11. (4-12)

AFC West
San Diego Chargers – How do you have the best RB and still lose? Norv Turner (12-4)
Denver Broncos – Young talent will use this season to get ready for next season (7-9)
Oakland Raiders – First year starter at quarterback’s mean wasted season. (4-12)
Kansas City Chiefs – Brady Croyle’s the quarterback. Exactly! (3-13)
See yall Tuesday morning. Maly Mal out!
