Looks like we have another athlete going hard and playing through pain. Doctors told Kobe Bryant that he needed surgery on his finger way back in February. But he decided not to do anything until the Finals and the Olympics were over. Now Kobe says he will not have surgery at all so he can prepare for the upcoming NBA season. We already saw Shawne Merriman go down how long will Kobe last? Is this being tough our just stupid? Only time will tell. Check out the yahoo article.

Kobe better be sure he knows what he is doing!
I think he should have taken the summer off and had the surgery.
