Turkey Meat of the Week goes to Britney Spears...not because of her body (or lack thereof) but because she's back on top (pause) of the charts. Her new album Circus exceeded even the most optimistic sales predictions, selling 505,000 copies to claim the #1 spot. This is the first time she’s topped (pause) the album’s chart since 2003’s In The Zone. Everyone loves a cumback story. (no pun intended)

In related news, Akon made a not so impressive debut with his "Freedom" album pushing 116,000 copies. Akon joins Houston rapper Scarface who vowed his latest album "Emeritus" will be his last, selling 42,000 copies.
