MAN, hear we go again, the good old BCS controversy. As you check out the new rankings below keep in mind that Oklahoma jumped over Texas after both teams won and Texas defeated Oklahoma a couple of months ago. Since the Big 12 has 2 divisions Texas will not have a chance to play in the conference championship (even though Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech are tied), thus arguably the best team in college football may not have a chance to play in the top BCS bowl.
This and other crazy scenarieos (Alabama and Florida play Saturday) are the reasons I and millions of others would like to have some sort of playoff system. Even our President Elect said that he would push for an college football playoffs. Man, the BCS is some B.S. for real! That being said check out the rankings as the 2008 comes to a close in the next couple of weeks.
