Alex Ovechkin arrived at Madison Square Garden yesterday @ 10:30am to prepare for his game again the New York Rangers yesterday @ 8:00pm.. Now that is 9 1/2 hours of practicing. And yes we are talking about PRACTICE... Not only did Ovechkin practice for 9 1/2 hours but he scored the first goal of the night and had two assist.
If there was any doubt about the youthful Washington Capitals' ability to match the playoff-tested New York Rangers' intensity, effort and desire, Alexander Ovechkin and his teammates provided an emphatic response Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
