"What to watch in sports" Thursday Edition

Once again its on! The 2008 Finals repeat is tonight in Boston, Mass. as the Lakers take on the Celtics in a Thursday night showdown. This is definitely the game of the night but you also have a mix of men's basketball and also Pat Summit of the Tennessee Lady Vols is going for 1000 wins (that is if you are into women's college basketball...Ha) So here you have it Thursday nights sporting events!

DMV Music Video Casting Call

Likeblood is currently casting for their next music video which will be shot onWednesday, February 11th at BWX Lounge (http://www.bwxlounge.com/) 2733 Annapolis RD Hanover MD 21076

Coach bus service will be provided from DC Metro to the location.

This video will be extremely high profile and will include a number of celebrity guests.We are looking for both actors and models to play both featured roles and background performers. All talent must be 18 years or older and must be available during at least one of the following time slots on Feb 11th: 2p - 6p, 6p - 10p or 8p - 12a

Wizards Audition For The Fast and The Furious 4

The Washington Post reports: Guard Nick Young and center JaVale McGee were charged with reckless driving after being pulled over for speeding on the Dulles Access Road on Jan. 1. The incident was first reported by WJLA (Channel 7) on Monday. Under Virginia law, a driver can be charged with reckless driving for going more than 20 miles over the speed limit as well as other offenses including driving over 80 mph and racing. The speed limit on the access road is 55 mph.

Arraignment for Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. today. She was indicted last month on 12 counts, including stealing gift cards from needy families, failing to disclose gifts from developers on her ethics forms and misuse of office. She has said she is innocent of all the charges.. HAHAHAHA

Michael Phelps has embarrassed himself again after a triumphant Olympics, this time getting his picture snapped as he inhaled from a marijuana pipe.. I just wondered if he passed it. LOL.. Now this isn't the first time ol' Michael has been in trouble involving drugs, in Baltimore folks don't look at Michael like the rest of the world because after the 2004 Athens Games, an underage Phelps was arrested for drunken driving, pleaded guilty and apologized to his fans, saying he wouldn’t make the same mistake again.. Yeah Right.. Heck even DMX said he gave it up and he just got 90 Days. Now this doesn't look like a picture of a dude who just started smoking so I wonder who took the drug test for Michael over the past 4 years. THINGS THE MAKE YOU SAY HMMMM!!!!!!

THINGS ARE REALLY STARTING TO HEAT UP!!!

Looks like Lil Wayne & Officer Rick Ross are both on 50 Cents most wanted list. I guess it all started with the "Louisianimal" single that Lil Wayne dropped a little while back on The Drought 6 Mixtape . Well over the past weeks 50 has called out Officer Ross & Lil Wayne and a few other on a number of occasions even wrote a few raps posted on 50's site. "Play This On The Radio" was directed at Lil Wayne and "Try Me" prompting Rick to put out a rap of his own. "Mafia Music".. Now all three song are great to say the least and all of them are sending out real strong statement to one another. I personally thought 50 fell off before I heard this rap but I can say he still has it. Can this be the Biggie/Tupac with Lil Wayne playing the role of NAS who Tupac didn't care to much for all over again. I hope not but 50 Cent is out of his damn mind right now and the way he's talking, all rappers need to beware. HAHAHA..

CONGRATS TO THE PITTSBURG STEELERS ON #6

I don't know if the Pittsburgh Steelers are America's Team. But Sunday night they were Raymond James Stadium's team. They were President Obama's team. Most of all, they were the Vince Lombardi Trophy's team. Do you have any idea how hard it is to win a Super Bowl? The Steelers have now won a record-breaking six of them, two in the past four years. Fifteen of the NFL's 32 franchises have never won one. Five have never even advanced to the game.
