2 Outta 3 On The Road... That's pretty good!!
With another HUGE performance from Clinton Portis and the Washington Redskins, the Redskins win another division game, on the road, 2 weeks in a row!!! WOOOO!! It's early, but considering the hellacious schedule that they've started off with this season, the Washington Redskins HAVE to be considered one of the top 3 teams in league... to this point! They were considered to be the worst team in the NFC East, but now have beaten 2 of the 3 (almost all 3) teams that were predicted to be ahead of them in the division! Now let's see who wants to be on the WASHINGTON REDSKIN bandwagon! If you weren't with us from the beginning, WE DO NOT WANT YOU NOW!! Holla at your boy DLR fans!

Free Money from BigBoyFloyd!
Not a bad beginning for BigBoyFloyd last week huh!? 3-0 with the 3 games I picked last week, perfection! Hope yall rolled with my picks and got some of that free money! If not, here's your chance this week to roll right to Las Vegas with my picks and lay some big money on these 4 picks for week 5 in the NFL season.
Washington Redskins +6 vs. Philedelphia Eagles -6 Over/Under 42.5
Division rivalry game between 2 teams that both have something to prove. Washington wants to prove that last week's win against Dallas was no fluke, and Philly wants to prove that they are indeed going to be a player in the NFC east this season. Westbrook is iffy to play and even if he does 6 points is too much to lay against the Skins, even on the road. Take that 6 points in a game Washington may win outright, and take the over in points as well.
Cincinnati Bengals +17 vs. Dallas Cowboys -17 Over/Under 44
Normally, a 17 point spread in the NFL I will roll with the underdog, but not this week. T.O. is pissed, Barber did not get the ball enough last week, Ohco Cinco is talking trash his backup QB cant back up, and the Cowboys are no longer talked about as the clearcut team to win the Superbowl this year. GET YOUR POPCORN READY, this is going to be over by halftime in dallas this week, Dallas may beat Cincy by 30 points just to prove a point that they are still the cream of the crop of the NFC east, and maybe the NFL period. Give the 17 points, and take the over, Dallas may score 44 points by themselves.
New England Patriots -3 vs. San Francisco 49ers +3 Over/Under 41
Man, wish this was a 6 point spread or more so I could pick my 49ers.... New England was embarrased a couple weeks ago by the Dolphins, but no one is better at gameplaning and adjustments during a week then Bill Belicheck, and he's had 2 weeks to fume over this team looking like a complete joke. Take New England in a defense battle/run the ball type game, also take the under.
Tennessee Titans -3 vs. Baltimore Ravens +3 Over/Under 33
Injuries are starting to pile up for my Ravens. (yes, I have 2 favorite NFL teams) No Samuri Rolle, no Kelly Gregg, and probably no Willis McGahee this week. Tennessee has looked good in their 4-0 start to this year, the defense is one of the best in the league, and Kerry Collins makes the plays that Vince Young cant and/or wont. I still believe later in the year my Ravens will be a player for a playoff spot in the AFC, but they are not good enough right now to overcome the injuries. With a broken heart I say lay the 3 points and take the Titans, and also take the over.
Well there are the 4 winning picks for this week, get your legal bets in!

13 Years Later, Is Justice Finally Being Served?
First of all, I dont know whether O.J. Simpson actually killed Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson himself, with help, or was even there at the time that they were killed, but at the very least the fool had them killed so one way or another he got away with murder back in June 1994. You'd think this fool would keep himself out of the limelight as much as possible, but no O.J. had to have a "When keeping it real goes wrong" moment last year that has landed his dumb azz in jail, possibly for life. Here's a link to AOL Blackvoices for the story on him being found guilty on 13 charges.

MAVERICK.. MAVERICK... GTFOH!!!

Sen. Joe Biden, made it very clear that Sen. John McCain was no Maverick. "I am tired of hearing the word Maverick., Gov. McCain is no Maverick." And Gov. Palin showed American's how she can still dance around the questions. She never answered the questions, showed no education and her public speaking skills were awful. Makes you wonder what was the reason the Republicans choose her in the first place when there was plenty of far better qualified candidates. I thought that you try to find a running mate that can capitalize on where you fall short. Maybe Gov. McCain just needed a new Mate he has been known to change his hand at the spur of the moment.
Kimbo Slice -vs- Ken Shamrock

Big fight on CBS, Saturday Night @ 9:00pm. Ken Shamrock said he plans on breaking Kimbo's leg. DLR can't wait to see that. LOL..

"What to watch in sports" Thursday Edition

The unofficial weekend is here (yes I'm pressed enough to count Thursday as the weekend). We have reached October and that means the Major League Baseball playoffs have started. Although I cannot watch too many regular season baseball games during the year, the playoffs are totally different monster. So be sure to tune in as the drama unfolds!
Be sure to check into DLR tomorrow for the weekend edition of "What to watch in sports"

Ridin Dirty
Former NFL player Travis Henry was caught with 5 kilos of cocaine. I guess he has to feed those 9 children somehow since he was kicked out of the league for not being able to leave Maryjane alone. SMDH.
Hats Off To Ludacris
Ludacris has a new line of caps with New Era. You gotta love the entrepreneur spirit of rappers even if you don't like the message in the music. Did I mention that hat cost $125?
REPUBLICANS GO AFTER THE MODERATOR
The excuse that's being used involves a new book coming out on Inauguration day that talks about about Barack Obama and the politics of race. Just click on the link to check out this very interesting story, it may help you with making that final very important decision come this November.

Under Center w/ Maly Mal
As I watched - New York Giants – To be the champs, you have to beat the champs. So far, no one has beaten the champs.
- Tennessee Titans – Jeff Fisher is a former member of the ’85 Bears defense, and he has the Titans playing a lot like that team.
- Dallas Cowboys – The lost came against a divisional foe. However, questions are abound regarding the defense… Especially the secondary.
- Pittsburgh Steelers – Big win against the Ravens. But, something tells me Ben Roethlisberger isn’t as healthy as he leads on.
- Washington Redskins – Did I really question Jason Campbell’s ability to run the Redskin’s offense? Shut up, Maly-Mal!
- Buffalo Bills – The Bills are 4-0 and leading the AFC East division. No one predicted that. But, I won’t be sold until they beat the Jets/Patriots.
- New England Patriots – Everyone else can dismiss them. I’m not!
- San Diego Chargers – Tough win against their California nemesis, but, a win is a win.
- Carolina Panthers – They are the true meaning of a team. No matter the obstacle in front of them, they find a way to win. Jake Delhomme will be the key.
- Philadelphia Eagles – It was vintage Eagles on Sunday night… So close, yet, so far away. Must win on Sunday vs. Washington.
- Denver Broncos – Cutler’s performance and maturation is being overshadowed by the porous play by the Broncos defense.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Everyone can say Brian Griese’s 3-0. But, it was the immortal Derrick Brooks’ play that beat Green Bay.
- Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jags have pulled out two nail-biters, in a row. But, they need more production from the run game to really turn the corner.
- Baltimore Ravens – Agonizing divisional lose against the Steelers. However, the Ravens may have finally found a QB who can score some points in Joe Flacco.
- Indianapolis Colts – Were the Colts able to sure up the offensive line during their bye week?
- New Orleans Saints – The return of Deuce McAllister will be a welcomed sight for Reggie Bush. Now Bush can get back to attacking the flats.
- Green Bay Packers – Is this the beginning of the end? The Packers played well enough to win on Sunday, but, didn’t. That’s 2 in a row…
- New York Jets – Brett Favre throws for 6 TD’s. Laveranues Coles caught 3 of them. If this tandem learns how to co-exist, look out!
- Chicago Bears – Much needed win against Philadelphia. The goal line stand could be a watershed moment… could be…
- Arizona Cardinals – The Cards certainly get more offensive production when Kurt Warner’s under center. However, the results the same… Loss!
- Seattle Seahawks – Hopefully for Seattle the bye week gave them time to get healthy and work out the kinks on defense.
- Minnesota Vikings – It looks like another season that goes by where the Vikings will say, “We need a QB”. DUH!
- San Francisco 49ers – Bad week to have a must win game… The 49ers travel to New England. But, if they want to show they’re on the rise, they need this win.
- Atlanta Falcons – Best of the rest. Too young to do any real damage.
- Cleveland Browns – They finally get a win… Against the Bengals. Ha! OVERRATED!
- Miami Dolphins – Can the Dolphins follow up their impressive beat down of the Patriots?
- Houston Texans – Competitive, but, competing doesn’t win football games.
- Detroit Lions – One of the worse teams in the league… But, they got rid of Matt Millen. That moves them up a few spots on my poll.
- Oakland Raiders – If the front office could get their act together this may be a good team later in the season. Good enough to be a pretender… Not contender!
- Kansas City Chiefs – I thought this team wouldn’t win a game this year. Nice win against Denver.
- Cincinnati Bengals – “Smell that, Ike? Smells like someone died!” (Curly Bill – Tombstone) What I smell is the Bengals stink!
- St. Louis Rams – I’ve never been a fan of firing a coach mid-season. I really wouldn’t do it when the players threaten to revolt!

CALL HER 'JANE SIX PACK' of BEER!!! LOL

Palin is losing support among conservatives, as several prominent commentators have suggested she is unqualified for the vice presidency.
"Todd and I, heck, we’re going through financial problems now even as we speak, which may put me again kind of on the outs of those Washington elite who don’t like the idea of just an everyday, working-class American running for such an office." The governor of Alaska received a salary of $112,895 in 2007
I'M IN LOVE WITH MARY JANE... SHE IS MY MAIN THING..

Freedom of bye week tempted RB Ricky Williams to use pot. I guess he felt like Pookie in NEW JACK CITY. LOL.. (It just be calling me man)..
