Well it's free agency time in the NFL which can mean only one thing, The Washington Redskins will open up their pocketbook to gleefully over spend foolishly in a laughable effort to make their team better.
As expected on Friday they came to agreement with Albert Haynesworth on a seven year, 100 million contract. The deal is expected to pay Haynesworth $32 million in the first 13 months, includes $41 million guaranteed and could reach $115 million if all incentives are met.
The Porkskins also resigned DeAngelo Hall to a six year contract The deal contained $23 million in guaranteed money and had a maximum value of $55 million. And to complete the trio of signings on Friday they came to terms with Derrick Dockery for five years and is worth slightly less than $27 million with $8.5 million guaranteed and $11.5 million paid over the first two years.
All I can do is shake my head and say PORKSKINS STAY LOSING!
