• In 1865 Abraham Linclon was the first to include Blacks in his inauguration parade
• 1917 Woodrow Wilson was the first to inlclude women his inauguration parade
• In 1789 George Washington's parad was held in New York City
• In 1997 Bill Clinton's parade was the first to be broadcast live on the internet
• In 2009 Baracks Obama will surely be the most attended inauguration parade.....amazing how far we have come.......but we are not done!
