Well I was able to bounce back last week by picking 2 of the 3 games correctly. The Cowgirls have been killing my picks so I will not even give you a winner for their game this week, to heck with those chumps they are bad luck to BigBoyFloyd's game-picking karma! Here are your 5 winning games to put your hard earned money on!
Washington Redskins -8 vs. Detroit Lions +8 Over/Under 42
Washington squeaked by the Browns last week, while The Lions lost but covered the 9.5 half spread in their game. No such covering spreads for the Lions this week. Take the Skins and give the 8 points, also take the over.
N.Y. Giants +3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers -3 Over/Under 42
Possible game of the week between 2 teams that have lost one game each. No S. Holmes and probably no Willie Parker for the Steelers. Should be a very close game so I suggest you take the 3 points and go with the Giants. Also take the under.
Atlanta Falcons +9 vs. Philadelphia Eagles -9 Over/Under 45.5
Atlanta is definately better than last year, Philadelphia is definately better than their average record so far this year. As good as Atlanta has looked I am still not sold on them offensively or defensively, plus McNabb should get Westbrook and Kevin Curtis back this week. Roll with Philly and drop those 9 points, also take the over.
Oakland Raiders +8 vs. Baltimore Ravens -8 Over/Under 35.5
Am I missing somthing? While I am a die-hard Ravens fan, since when are we 8 points better than ANYONE with the way we struggle week to week on offense? Ravens will win the game but take the Raiders and the 8 points, also take the under in a game which could end 10-3.
Indianapolis Colts +4 vs. Tennessee Titans -4 Over/Under 40
Wow, when is the last time Tennessee was favored in a game over the Colts? It's valid though, Titans are hard to score on, and at times Indy has struggled to score this year period. In what may be a last hurrah for the Colts as a AFC Superbowl contender with their backs to the wall, I think the Colts will come out fighting and win the game outright giving the Titans their first loss on the season. Take the 4 points even though you wont need them, also take the over.
Alright, 5 winning picks from BigBoyFloyd! My slump is over, now go get my money!
