What to watch in sports: Thursday Edition!!

The second round of the NCAA tournament starts today and its been a relatively safe tourney as far as upsets go. Still there have been many fans who lost out on the likes of Wake Forest but should have no fear if they picked some of the higher ranked teams going to the final four. In the NBA we have 4 possible playoff teams on the tube tonight in Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, and Trailblazers. So even though it is Thursday, time to get the weekend started with some drinks, food and plenty of basketball on TV.

Thursday, March 26
College bball-
-Purdue at UConn (cbs@7:07pm) "I'm going with UConn who dominated most of the season."
-Xavier at Pitt (cbs@7:20pm) "This will be an interesting game depending on which Xavier team shows up. Pitt has not looked as good as they should be looking."
-Missouri at Memphis (cbs@9:37pm) "This should also be a good game. Two hard working teams."
-Villanova at Duke (cbs@9:57pm) "Another great game. Besides putting my money on the Big East, my hate for Duke will have me cheering for a Nova victory!"

NBA-
-Miami at Chicago (tnt@8:15pm) "Big game for the Bulls as they fight for the 8th and final spot in the East."
-Phoenix at Portland (tnt@10:30pm) "Big game for both teams. The Suns are battling to make the final spot and Portland is looking for positioning in the playoffs."
