JUST TERRIBLE

The Washington Wizards blew a seven-point lead with 93 seconds remaining and witnessed the Cavaliers score the final 11 points. 93 seconds that all just 93 seconds. They couldn't hold the Cavs off for just 93 seconds. WTF!!!! Can someone please tell me how come DC teams are horrible College and Pro. WTF!!! Can all teams really be that bad. Last night was the icing on the cake for the worst season I have ever witnessed.

A 7 point lead with 1:33 seconds in the game to lose 98-86.. OMG!!!!

THE REMATCH...

The Wizards could have a hard time duplicating that performance in Cleveland. The Cavaliers look to run their home mark to 38-1 on Wednesday night when they face the Wizards, owners of one the NBA's worst road records. Washington (18-60) is in last place in the Eastern Conference in part because Arenas has played only two games, having spent the majority of the season recovering from knee surgery. It has not been mentioned if Gilbert will be playing tonight but if the Wizard want to have a chance at winning they better make sure he does.
Game time - 7:00pm, I sure hope they put them Zephyrs uniforms back on, it might be the luck they need to dethrone The King and his Cavaliers.

ARE YOU READY??

Saturday night will be the return of Agent O. Washington Wizards Guard Gilbert Arenas is expected to return to action this saturday after a long season plagued with injuries. Fans may want to consider this as the big return to a team that has suffered the last two years with one of the worst records in the NBA this year. Now Gilbert, wants folks to understand "I'm not looking at it as a comeback. This is the final stage of rehabilitation, me learning what I can do, what I can't do and what I need to work on."

Man please you can call it what you want but brother after the way this city has suffered for the last two years... I am going out on a limb and calling this a comeback. It should be a packed house this weekend at the Verizon Center aka (Phone Booth).. Tickets are cheap right now also.

Is it ever good to lose? Hell yeah if you are the Wizards!

Well the Washington Wizards took another loss tonight to the Oklahoma City Thunder (embarrassing) but wait, no need to get down it is actually time to rejoice...let me explain.
With 22 games left in the season the Wizards are battling 5 teams for the worst record in the NBA. With the playoffs being out of reach (literally when the season started) the best scenario would be for the Wiz to get the number 1 pick and select Blake Griffin who is a double double king. The 6-10 Soph works hard, never smiles, dives for balls and can score (bama had a 40 pts 20 reb in a game this year for the #3 Sooners). Think about it, next year when Gilbert and Haywood are back to full strength, the big three unite, and the bench players have more experience, Griffin could actually tip the Wiz over for a Eastern Conference appereance. (Stop that damn snickering)

So as you can see it is good for the Wizards to lose. For all of you Wiz fans we need your support in helping our team keep up this terrible pace. So break out your voo-doo, hoo-doo and those of you that have the Johnny Mush disease (the unlucky gambler in the movie Bronx tale) place your beats so that we can continue to tank the season.

Here are the records of the teams that are trying to beat us as the worst in the NBA:
  1. Sacremento 13-49
  2. Washington 14-47
  3. LA Clippers 15-46
  4. Memphis 15-44
  5. Oklahoma City 16-45

PS
Gil don't come back until we have 5-10 games left, and try not to score too much. LOL

Sad State of Affairs: Wizards Rant!!!

With the inauguration just days away and Obama set to adopt the Wizards as his home team, (he loves basketball) I just wanted to take a few moments to rant about the terrible coaching and team play that is known as Wizard basketball.

Alright, we know that Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood are hurt and this team would be a totally different if they were healthy. But whats done is done. Let's concentrate on the here and now. WTF is Eddie Tapscott doing with his rotations? At 7-30 what is it hurting to let some of the younger guys play more minutes? I mean Butler and Jamison should get burn off the break but the likes of Mike James, Stevenson (hurt), and Etan Thomas should get minimal time as the Wiz evaluate all the young talent they have. What does it hurt to let the young talent get in there for some experience when we will have a losing season? It may even help out next year when we are healthy. I cant figure this out and the fans are getting restless. At this point in the season the only thing that will keep my attention is to see the young players develop. I will pass on seeing M. James throw up some garbage shot or Etan get dunked on night after night.

I don't really know if it is Tapscott or maybe its the GM Ernie Grunfield but what is going on here. Are they working on a trade to get rid of our low budget veterans? WHY THE HELL AREN'T THE YOUNG PLAYERS GETTING A MAJORITY OF THE TIME? WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE?
This is a terrible product right now, but let DLR know what "Joe the fan" has to say about the Wiz subpar play. (this shyt is pissing me off if you couldnt tell, LOL)

OH THE AGONY!!!! PLEASE HELP WE'VE FALLIN' AND WE CAN'T GET UP

The NBA Champion Boston Celtics came to the DMV last night for another regular season beatdown this time on the Washington Wizards and right after the players shook hands the game was over. The Celtics' provided an 122-88 old fashion thumping of the Wizards on Thursday added another historic notch to Boston's 2008-09 campaign for #18. Despite a 35-point effort in the third quarter, the Wizards were unable to make a comeback as they fell to the Mighty Celtics. Maybe they should have used the wax Gilbert Arenas too helped out on defense. LOL..
