Now Look

President Obama sought to reassure Americans last night that his administration has made progress in reviving the economy and said his $3.6 trillion budget is "inseparable from this recovery." DLR would have to agree that since President Obama has taken office, the economy has surely moved in the right direction. He said some very powerful things last night the really stood out such as:

1) When he came into office, the US economy was already $1.3 Trillion dollars in the hole.
2) We've been in office now a little over 60 days. "What I am confident about is that we're moving in the right direction."

Asked why he waited several days to publicly express his frustrations after finding out about the AIG bonuses, he calmly said, "It took us a couple of days because I like to know what I'm talking about before I speak." Man I almost feel out of my chair laughing at the dude who asked that question. IDIOT!!! LOL. It was like President Obama walked right up to him and slapped him with the PIMP HAND!!! LOL. I wonder why not one white person ever asked former President George Bush about some of the horrible speeches he has had? These speeches have been opening lines on just about every late night show in America, i.e. Letterman, Leno, Kimmel, etc.

And finally, there was a question asked regarding race. Asked whether race had played a role in public policy discussions during his first months in office, he said the novelty and "justifiable pride" among Americans from his being the first black president had lasted only a day. "Right now, the American people are judging me exactly the way I should be judged," he said, offering as examples his efforts to improve lending, increase jobs, and get the economy working again.

DLR says keep up the great work, President Obama. We support you 100%.
