Jim Bowden stepped down as the Nationals GM this morning saying that he is becoming too much of a distraction for the team. Bowden is being investigated by the MLB and also FBI for the signing of supposed 16-year old Dominican prospect. It turns out that this prospect had a fake name and also lied about his age. Bowden leaves with no ill feelings and wishes the Nationals the best in all they do.

With the farm system I think Bowden was doing okay, but yeah with this he has to go, this fool could possibly have been embezzing (sp?) money like a mofo!
