Is Houston's trade rocket grounded before lift off???
Sounds like things may not go as planned for the Houston Rockets and their trade for the clown, I mean Ron Artest (I'm so glad he's not coming to the Wizards!). There are already some "grumblings" between Artest and the Rocket's franchise player Yao Ming. See what Yao has to say about "Mr. Ghetto" coming to the team.
Manny Ramirez for Brett Favre??? HUH?
No, it's not really going down like that... but from the pic, it looks like Manny sure would like it too! LOL
Check out Yahoo's story about a possible Ramirez trade out of Boston.
"Damn Homey, You Used To Be The Man Homey"
Rumors are spreading that President Bush will let Marion Jones out of jail at the end of his term. Should he let her out or should he let her sit in jail like all the lying azz Olympic sprinters doped up on drugs? Check out the article from Newsweek and let us know what you think.

Exxon Mobil Sets Another Record
When I pull up to the gas station, the classic Ice Cube song "No Vaseline" instantly pops into my head. Check out this article on how ExxonMobil has set another record for profits of $11.7 billion. Somebody should post up at their next corporate event and just start sniping bamas until they get the message.

Huh!? Were Ryan Leaf and Drew Henson not available?
Yep, those are 2 former Dallas Cowgirl QB bums that were once hailed by idiot Cowgirl fans far and wide as the Quarterbacks to lead this crack cocaine-laden franchise back to the SuperBowl. While it seems these 2 have smartly given up on the far-fetched dream of even holding a clipboard in the NFL, there is one other former Cowboy loser trying to grasp that one last chance, Quincy Carter. Click here to read on about this schmuck in the Miami Dolphin camp.

Would You Take $20 Milli To Stay Retired?
Thats what Green Bay is asking Brett Favre to do. Thats like an $8 million dollar raise from the $12 milli he would receive to play. I'm sure he has enough money not to worry about the money if he really wants to play.

Who's The Best????
Finals MVP Paul Pierce, who recently spent three days at a ball camp in Madrid, is making, ahem, news about what he said to a Spanish reporter. The money translation, via RedsArmy: "Q: Is Kobe really the best player in the world? Pierce: I don't think Kobe is the best player. I'm the best player. There's a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don't cross that line but I have a lot of confidence in myself." Surprisingly, Spurs fans seem more upset by this than actual Lakers fans. (Update: OK, Lakers Nation is pretty upset, too.)

The Ageless Wonder, Ray-Ray
When you talk future Hall of Famers in football, not too many names you can bring up before you get to perhaps the greatest middle linebacker ever to play the game, the Baltimore Ravens' Ray Lewis. Read this article to just get a small taste of what keeps this killer on the football field going as he enters his 13th NFL season.
You Big Dummy!
Now as not only a San Francisco 49er fan but also a Baltimore Raven fan, I have run into my fair share of idiot Cincinnati Bengals fans. Well, looks like their stupidity as rubbed into their QB, Carson Palmer. Click here to view about his quick rant on Ohio State University, and his quick backtrack the next day.

Childress Play
Josh Childress of the Atlanta Hawks has decided to leave the NBA for Greece. Most players play overseas because they can't get into the NBA. He's leaving by choice for the money. He will make a guaranteed $20 million over 3 years after taxes. Thats more than he would make to stay in the NBA. Guess you gotta get it where you can get it. I ain't mad at him.
