I must have watched CNN for like 3 hours yesterday trying to get a good understanding on the involvement Jesse Jackson Jr. had with Gov. Rod Bladojevich. The story reads like this; "Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. reportedly is the “Senate Candidate 5″ mentioned in a 76-page complaint filed by prosecutors against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who has been accused of a pay-to-play effort to sell the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by President-elect Barack Obama.
Federal law enforcement sources said the son of the civil rights leader is the candidate identified by the FBI as willing to spend up to $1 million to secure the Senate seat. Why Jesse why, the way it sounded to DLR before this took place you might have been a sure lock for that position.
