The Obama family will move to Washington D.C. this weekend, according to the Barack Obama’s transition team.

“The president-elect will be here in Washington to continue work on an economic recovery plan,” the team announced.
He, his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters Malia and Sasha will stay at a Washington hotel through Jan. 15. From there, they will move into the Blair House, which is the president’s guest house and stands across the street from the White House. Inauguration events begin Jan. 20.
The transition team added: “[Obama] will also be here for the beginning of school.”

“SHIFT_The Way You Move.”

“SHIFT_The Way You Move" is Nissan's new tagline that it will be introducing with the new 370 Z. The 370Z coupe starts at $30,625 for a base model equipped with the six-speed manual and $31,925 with the seven-speed automatic. The better-equipped 370Z Touring starts at $35,155 with the stick and $36,455 for the automatic. That’s a jump of nearly $1500 from the 2008 coupe’s $29,205 sticker, but considering the magnitude of improvements made inside, outside, and under its brazen new skin, the 350Z’s bang-for-the-buck appeal remains without question. You can't beat that price for the money...too bad its a recession or I would buy two.

2009 Air Jordans

Beginning next year, Air Jordan's will no longer go by the number in which they were released as in this years Air Jordan XX3. Rather they will simply be identified by the year of their release such as the above pictured as yet released Air Jordan 2009. Available on Valentine's Day '09, 3 days before MJ turns 46. Don't ask me how I knew that. I'm a fan of Jordans, but only the 1's, 3's, 5's & 7's, and these not in the least but what do you guys think of em? Holla. (Courtesy of ICE)

I love me some Claudia Jordan. She is funny and gorgeous. She should go ahead and put that restraining order on me now if she nows what's best. (just kidding...sorta)

Miami Nice

The NFL Pro Bowl and Super Bowl will be held in Miami in 2010 a week apart from each other. Since 1980 the Pro Bowl was held in Hawaii a week after the Super Bowl. However, next year they will be moving the Pro Bowl to Miami to hold it between the week of the conference championships and the Super Bowl. Book you rooms now cause Miami is going to be off the hook for those two weeks. *gets on knees and prays the Cowboys get to the Superbowl next year*

Orange Chicken of the Week

EntrePoNukka Tip of the Week

Don’t spend so much time trying to choose the perfect opportunity, that you miss the right opportunity. Whether you’ve found your calling, or if you’re still searching, passion should be the fire that drives your life’s work.”-Michael Dell

Furniture of the Week

You gotta be careful with white furniture...stains easy.

Lets Go Hoyas!

The Georgetown Hoyas made an impressive statement last night in their Big East opener against #2 UConn. Led by Dejuan Sumners and top freshman Greg Monroe, the Hoyas are poised for big things this year. Having a good to great coach in JTIII is truly a blessing. Maybe the Wizards should think about hiring him.

HOW BAD WAS IT??? NEVER KNEW IT WAS ON!!!!

Rapper, actor and overall entrepreneur, 50 Cent, is having his MTV reality show canceled after roughly one month on the air. After debuting on November 6, the Money and the Power will be permanently shelved due to disappointing ratings. I bet the court appearance with Babymomma had something to do with this. You ain't gangsta for real "2 Quarters"... LOL..

Wanna Play Bill Clinton?

Calling all Bill Clinton look-alikes: an Arlington audition next month will cast the role of the former president for a new indie flick. The movie’s budget is a little under $1 million. Starting in April, external scenes such as the Watergate will be filmed in D.C. and the rest will be shot in Louisiana. It’s expected to be released in fall 2009. All I want to know is does the person who gets the Clinton role gets to skeet on the dress...lmao!

GONE MAD!?!??!?!?!

Ever since the untimely passing of his mother, Dr. Donda West, Kanye West’s increasingly bizarre behavior has had a lot of folks wondering. Well wonder no more because it’s starting to look as if Kanye’s descending into utter madness. Turns out that Kanye’s taken to “chanting” in hopes of ridding his home of “evil spirits.” Here’s how it’s being reported:

“Kanye has started this strange new ritual of chanting these spiritual songs. He thinks it rids his space of ghosts and spirits. “He reckons his singing will improve if he gets rid of the demons.” DLR would like to be the first to go on the record and say it might be time to get some professional help Kanye...

Barack The Magic Negro?

The national GOP loses again with a new controversy over the "Barack the Magic Negro" song. Here are the song and lyrics for those who want to make up their own minds. Chip Saltsman recently sent Republican National Committee members a CD that included the song by comedian Paul Shanklin. Saltsman is seeking the chairmanship of the RNC. He said the song was part of the "light-hearted political parodies" he sent to the members.

Just in case any of you want to know if DLR is offended by this song. No, because BARACK IS THE MAGIC NEGRO! HE'S THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT...GET OVER IT!

THE REPUBLICANS STAY LOSING! JANUARY 20TH NUKKAS!

The Agony of Defeat

So the Cowboys lost in humiliating fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday in a win and in game for the playoffs. Dallas Superbowl aspirations are put on hold for another year while they will be forced to answer some tough questions about their QB, head coach and offensive coordinator. Also, the Redskins lost yesterday to the 49ers to end their once promising season at 8-8. They have the same tough questions to answer as the Cowboys. Here are some other noteworthy things that happened in the league as we head into the postseason.

-Jets lost to Miami; Pennington gets his revenge, Jets fire coach, Parcells is a genius and will Brett Favre be back

-Chargers make the playoffs and Denver crash and burn

-Vikings win NFC North with help of resurgent QB Tavaris Jackson; Bears defense crumbles in the hands of the Texans

-Browns fire Crennel
-Lions went 0-16 for the first time in NFL history; needless to say they fired their coach

Since the Cowboys are out the playoffs, I hope that somehow the playoffs would be cancelled so I won't be forced to watch another team hoist the Lombardi trophy this year. Oh the pain! (Jerry please get Jimmy Johnson on the phone now!)

Free Money From BigBoyFloyd!

Wow, last regular season installment of Free Money, man how the NFL season flies! But fear not I will you all the winners to bet on for the playoffs starting next week. But first things first, here are 5 winning picks for Week 17 of the NFL season.

Washington Redskins +3 vs. San Francisco 49ers -3 Over/Under 37.5

Battle of 2 teams missing the playoffs, but a win is vital to both coaches. I'm a little surprised the Redskins are a 3 point underdog, seeing that they did beat Philly last week. I'm taking my 49ers, they are playing hard for Singletary. Take the Niners and drop the 3 points, also take the under.

New England Patriots -6 vs Buffalo Bills +6 Over/Under 40

Everyone keeps talking about what a great job Matt Cassell has done and while he has been solid a perfect regular season and a Super Bowl appearance last year under Brady beats possibly missing the playoffs this year under Cassell. Now I dont know if the Pats will squeak into the playoffs but I do know I wont beat against them in this game. Take the Patriots and drop the 6 points, also take the over.

Miami Dolphins +3 vs. New York Jets -3 Over/Under 43

Not a lot more would make me happier, (others than seeing the Cowgirls miss the playoffs, which I will get to later.) than to see Mr. Me Me Me Prima Donna Drama Queen Brett Favre fall flat on his face and miss the playoffs. Wasn't this clown supposed to retire 5-6 years ago!? And the will he/ wont he reitre garbage has already started up. Miami has overachieved all year, but will the glass slipper finally slip off of Cinderella's feet? I think so..... sadly, take that azzclown Favre and the Jets and lay the 3, also take the under in points.

Denver Broncos +8 vs. San Diego Chargers -8 Over/Under 50.5

Neither of these teams deserve to go to the playoffs, but one will. Now I'm not saying Denver will win, but no way I pass up getting 8 points against a overachieving Norv Turner coached team. Take the Broncos and the points, also take the over, gonna be a high-scoring affair.

Dallas Cowboys +1 vs. Philadelphia Eagles -1 Over/Under 42.5

It pains me to say this but.........jump all over the Cowboys, they will win in Philadelphia by at least 6 points. The McNubb/Reid era of choking in big games will end with of course a loss in this playoff eliminator game. Take the Cowboys and that 1 point, also take the over.

Alright folks, that does it for Free Money From BigBoyFloyd in the regular season. See you in 2009 next week for playoff winners!
