Ben's Chili Bowl will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary this weekend with a show tonight hosted by Bill Cosby at the Lincoln Theater and concluding on Sunday with a show at the 9:30 club with E.U. and some other local acts. Ben's is a true DMV institution. Click here for more details.

Born and raised in DC all my life. Went to Spingarn High School and passed Ben's Chilli bowl millions of times heck even partied with the wickest band alive (R.E.) at the Reeve Center down the street and don't get me wrong haven't ever heard nothing but praise concerning the restaurant. But I must admit I never even went in the joint. I am making my way to the city this weekend to get me something from ben's. Man I feel bad especially coming from the city.
Ben's Chili Bowl, big slice of pizza in Adam's Morgan, or Horse and Dickey's. One of those 3 I am stopping at on late night missions in D.C.
And Resume King, I myself didnt go to Ben's chili bowl, or Horse and Dickey's for that matter up until 4years ago. Lemme tell you now the chili half-smokes are bangin!
