Washington Redskins +6 vs. Philedelphia Eagles -6 Over/Under 42.5
Division rivalry game between 2 teams that both have something to prove. Washington wants to prove that last week's win against Dallas was no fluke, and Philly wants to prove that they are indeed going to be a player in the NFC east this season. Westbrook is iffy to play and even if he does 6 points is too much to lay against the Skins, even on the road. Take that 6 points in a game Washington may win outright, and take the over in points as well.
Cincinnati Bengals +17 vs. Dallas Cowboys -17 Over/Under 44
Normally, a 17 point spread in the NFL I will roll with the underdog, but not this week. T.O. is pissed, Barber did not get the ball enough last week, Ohco Cinco is talking trash his backup QB cant back up, and the Cowboys are no longer talked about as the clearcut team to win the Superbowl this year. GET YOUR POPCORN READY, this is going to be over by halftime in dallas this week, Dallas may beat Cincy by 30 points just to prove a point that they are still the cream of the crop of the NFC east, and maybe the NFL period. Give the 17 points, and take the over, Dallas may score 44 points by themselves.
New England Patriots -3 vs. San Francisco 49ers +3 Over/Under 41
Man, wish this was a 6 point spread or more so I could pick my 49ers.... New England was embarrased a couple weeks ago by the Dolphins, but no one is better at gameplaning and adjustments during a week then Bill Belicheck, and he's had 2 weeks to fume over this team looking like a complete joke. Take New England in a defense battle/run the ball type game, also take the under.
Tennessee Titans -3 vs. Baltimore Ravens +3 Over/Under 33
Injuries are starting to pile up for my Ravens. (yes, I have 2 favorite NFL teams) No Samuri Rolle, no Kelly Gregg, and probably no Willis McGahee this week. Tennessee has looked good in their 4-0 start to this year, the defense is one of the best in the league, and Kerry Collins makes the plays that Vince Young cant and/or wont. I still believe later in the year my Ravens will be a player for a playoff spot in the AFC, but they are not good enough right now to overcome the injuries. With a broken heart I say lay the 3 points and take the Titans, and also take the over.
